Pulling Weeds!

Mommy and daddy decided to do a little work in the yard this weekend, mainly pulling up weeds that have taken over the flower beds.  Gary wanted to help, so he grabbed a trowel too!

This one is pretty old too, and it's not the best put together video we've made, but it shows how much Gary loves clapping along to music.  In this video, Gary listens to Here Comes Your Man by the Pixies and claps with glee!

Brunch at Los Tios

Last weekend, we ate brunch at one of the local restaurants. Gary wanted daddy to share his beverage, but daddy refused!

"Can I have a taste please, daddy?"

 

"Okay, I guess that chocolate milk will have to do!"

 

Gary's Guitar!

Gary has recently taken a liking to daddy's acoustic guitar.  It's his new favorite toy!  At this point, he basically pushes it around the room like a toy car (leaving nice scratches in the finish, much to daddy's chagrin), but he'll figure out its other functions at some point...  probably.

 

Hanbok Party!

Last weekend, Gary visited Grandma M.'s house to celebrate her birthday.  To mark the occasion, Gary and cousin Henry each decided to dress up in a hanbok to recognize their Korean heritage. Their decision was in no way influenced by the potential for cute to ensue.  So, this is what happened:

Poor (Snuggly) Baby

Gary came down with a nasty virus on Saturday and has been recovering since.  The silver lining is that he has been able to spend some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa M. and Aunt Shannon.  He has particularly enjoyed falling asleep atop his substitute caregivers; here is a picture of what mommy found when she finished work today.
